In the twelve months since Atari collected over three million dollars in "pre-orders" for the VCS, they have produced exactly zero consoles.

After one year and three million dollars, Atari today announced they have added a second fire button to the VCS Classic Joystick.
At this rate, we should see an actual working console sometime around autumn 2061.

Champ Games has figured out how to make Galaga work on the Atari 2600.
Present day Atari, meanwhile, can't seem to figure out how to shove a Raspberry Pi into a case.
